Rosie is doing better and happier than ever. She decided to name me "Mow Ma", which she calls out when she's trying to find which room I'm in. Mow Ma sounds like Ma Ma, and I think she thinks I'm her mom! Right now her big game is worm hunting. I take her out on her leash and she hunts for worms in the flower bed. She jumps into the bushes and spends forever catching worms out of the mud. She comes out of the bushes with a mouth full of mud and a giant worm wiggling hanging out of her mouth, and through the muddy mouthful she howls with giant eyes "Mow Ma!!!" and shows me her worm. I sit on the ground with her and pet her while we look at her worm, and I tell her how she's the queen of the jungle. The funny thing is that she never bites the worms, she never hurts them, she just wants to show me and know that I'm proud of her, and then we put the worm back in the flower bed unharmed. I hope everything is going great for Lapcats! I will be forever grateful for my Rosie! Here's a couple pics. |
