In Memory of Charlie

I wanted to let you know that Charlie passed away today.  His health had been failing for the past few months and today we had him peacefully euthanized at home on his favorite bed.  Charlie was a very sweet kitty and so gentle.  He liked to be held and purr and walk on our faces at 5:15am (he even adjusted for Daylight Savings which we thought was very considerate).  He spent his days laying on a perch in the sunshine while looking out the window or relaxing on our bed. Though he was in our lives less than a year we loved him and we know his final months here with us were very comfortable with lots of petting, attention, and comfort.  We will miss him.
