Rosie has been a real watch-dog for me, I definitely think she is actually a dog, or something else. She's my little ninja, stealthilly taking out spiders and mosquitoes with great skill. She has proved herself worthy of earning her official Samurai title, ROH'-'ZEE, the Samura warlord of this little apartment on 27th street. I don't allow her to have a sword though because her claws are already a bit more than I can manage.
Let's see, what's new... Well she has developed a habit of calling me into the bathroom on Saturday mornings when my coffee finishes brewing, so I'll sit in the dry bathtub with her and have coffee while she stretches out backwards and plays patty-paws against the sides of the tub "clackity clickity clack". And then howls at me if I get out of the tub to refill my coffee.
She also has learned to muscle me off the computer by leaning her shoulder into the keyboard inch by inch as I'm typing while staring me down with her big irresistible eyes. I finally laugh so hard I just quit trying to type. She can be heavy when she wants to be!
Here's a picture of her being mad at a squirrel which you can see on the tree lower right staring at her. She has learned to make extremely strange sounds at the squirrels, I think it'd be impossible to type the sounds. They almost sound like bird noises!
Well, I hope all is well for you and the Lapcats crew. Thank you again for my ROH'-'ZEE.
(This is Molly our 12+year old FIV+ sweetheart that had originally been adopted at the shelter and was abandoned nine years later in a house and brought to the shelter again. She had a horrible cold and was scheduled to be euthanized. She is one of the most precious and special cats ever and her story is so heartwarming because the home she got didn't care how old she was nor that she was FIV+. They love her and spoil her and she will never be homeless again.)
Just wanted to drop you a quick hello from all of us. Here we are carrying meeps outside for some fresh air on a beautiful spring evening. She's the most spoiled cat you've probably ever adopted out. Hope all is well with you and your family.

Ava and I have totally become best buds! Even my mother comments how similar we are in personality - she's full of energy, always has to have things "her" way, loves being outside in the sun on our patio, and playing with any hair band she can find. (never mind all the cat toys I buy for her) lately she has been sleeping in an unusual place - in some bras we hadn't put away yet! Haha. She loves helping me with work, as you can see below, and loves hanging around the shower after we have taken one. Ava sits in the chair next to me whenever I work from home and she's been super happy and playful.
Thanks for everything! I should bring her in soon for a pedicure.
Avril is doing great and is currently walking across the keyboard :-). She's incredibly good natured, and she's amazingly tolerant of our 18 month old cat that occasionally pounces on her to play. It's looking like she'll end up being the boss….
You were right. She loves sleeping a the very top of her tower!
