Her favorite thing at the moment is blanket-forts in the living room. She has me build several separate blanket-forts out of the chairs around the room. She then acts like she's a little pinball flying around the room, ducking under the blankets into each separate fort one at a time. She leaves her tail sticking out and wiggles it around with excitement waiting for me to grab her through the blankets. She likes the tension to build up while she wonders where I am outside the fort. Then I grab her through the blankets and she makes a loud noise that doesn't sound like any animal I've ever heard before, and she runs out from under the fort and into the next one across the room, where she waits in the dark with her tail wiggling outside, waiting again for me to grab her.
I've modeled one of the animal-characters in my book after Rosie, using her behavior and personality to construct this really cool relationship between the protagonist and his little sidekick. It actually makes me get tears while I'm writing because I can see in the writing just how much Rosie and I love each other. I'll be sure to let you know when I finish writing and send you a copy. I'm not promising that you'll like it! But you'll probably enjoy the scenes that mirror Rosie and I together. Its gonna be a while before its done though!
I'll attach some pics below. Thank you again for bringing Rosie and I together. It would sound strange to think she and I could keep becoming better friends, but its really happening, day after day, into years. There's real magic happening here with me and my little friend. Its living medicine, and it works, for both she and I.
