Adopting From Lapcats
All of our cats available for adoption can be viewed on our Petfinder site and on our website under Adoptable Cats (below). Since we are a foster based rescue, most of our cats are in foster homes.
If you find a cat(s) you are interested in, please submit the online adoption application as the first step in our adoption process. Once the application is completed and submitted, you will get a confirmation message that it has been received.
We will review the application and determine if the home is the right fit for the specific cat(s) you are interested in. We try to screen all applications within 3 business days but due to the high volume of adoption requests, we are only able to respond if it is determined the cat(s) would be a good match for the home. If the 3 days have passed and you have not heard from us, your application has not been accepted. Thank you for your understanding.
The fee to adopt is listed on each kitty's Petfinder profile. This includes spay/neuter, de-worming, flea treatment, FeLV testing, rabies and FVRCP vaccinations, microchip implantation and free lifetime registration, AND free nail trimming on your adopted kitty and any others in the home!
