Thank you for contacting Lapcats!
If you are interested in adopting one of our cats, please complete our adoption application which can be found here: https://www.lapcats.org/adoption-corner.html
We are not a public surrender facility.
If you have found a cat or kitten please visit our Resources and Help page on our website for suggestions on what to do. Most importantly, you should have it checked for a microchip at the animal shelter or local veterinarian. Please do not turn a blind eye and assume a free roaming cat has an owner/caregiver. If it needs to be spayed or neutered, we can help you with that. As a matter of fact, contact us any time for help with spaying and neutering ANY CAT. All of them, whether owned, stray, feral, or friendly need to be FIXED! Email us!
If you are trying to find a home for your own cat(s) please visit www.keepyourpet.com. DO NOT endanger it by putting it on Craigslist and please DO NOT give your pet away for free (or unaltered)! It would be safer for it to go to the animal shelter to be kept safe and put up for adoption.
Check our Resources & Help page on our website to help you navigate a variety of things like, what to do if you have lost a pet, local resources for pet friendly housing, and even health information.
