Wonderful Inky has been adopted!

When Inky's mom came over to get him, volunteer and foster Carrie's kitty, Peaches, found the carrier Inky's mom brought!

She thought she was hitching a ride home with Inky!

She's a riot!

Tito Update!

Thank you to everyone who donated to help this sweet kitty. We were able to reach our fundraising goal of $1200 within a couple days. However, Tito has had some unexpected obstacles that we did not plan for. Tito's situation has become more complicated with additional health concerns.

The radiation treatment we had hoped Tito would receive is on hold. The mass on his intestines needs to be handled prior to the treatment. However, his thyroid/liver levels need to balance and stabilize prior to treating the mass.

Tito and Lapcats are in for the long haul. These are all things that should be curable, and we hope to get Tito taken care of and off to an amazing forever home!
Tito is a puuurfect example of what Lapcats loves to do. Saving one cat at a time through education and community support! That community support is YOU, and we couldn't do it without you!

Thank you so much to those who have donated to help Tito:

Tito's liver levels would not stay in check and they need to be balanced to do the treatment. He was also given an ultrasound before the treatment which discovered a mass on his intestine. Tito has to be on a super special diet for hyperthyroid cats for at least two months to try and help stabilize his health. A 4lb bag of this food costs $30 and a can costs $2.29.
