Val (grooming manager) fell in love with them several weeks ago. She is a former adopter and her Lapcats alum passed away recently. When she saw the twins back at the center, she couldn't resist the offer to take them home for a try!!!!

Daily Diary of Spicoli and Josie on their "trial adoption."
Day 1:
Car ride home not a peep except they weren't happy with the collars I put on to be able to tell them apart.

P.m. Report
They are doing good. Settled into their room. I can definitely tell them apart now that im looking at them all the time. She is definitely more reserved.  You can tell she looks to him to see if things are ok. They definitely could not be separated. They are so cute!
Their ears are the best.

They love the dogs stairs and coffee table in spare room.

Day 2
I was greeted with love this morning and someone farted in my face. They are definitely getting comfortable with us.

Day 3
They like the new toys mom brought home today!
They absolutely love bottled water. They almost drank everything i poured in.
They are maniacs and already know the sound of the laser pointer turning on.
They are literally trying to climb out of the room. I took them on a shoulder tour and that wasn't good enough. Now they know the sound of garage door when i get home and are waiting right by the door for me to come in.

They are BIG time lapcats. I had them on couch with me when dogs were out and they were all lovey for a minute then realized they were free and ran the  backs of the couch like maniacs lol diving in between the cushions and flying everywhere.  In my chip bag, feet were attacked a couple dozen times under blankets! Now they have tasted being out of room so he cries and tries to break out. I love them so much. Funny thing is i never even pet them until i brought em home. And he is Sakes twin already. Meant to be if you ask me.  He rubs face and head butts just like him.

Day 4

So todays status: we have a sectional with a very large ottomon on one side. The dogs all congregate in the middle around coffee table. So since the babies were not having the dog kennel (crying and trying to dig out) i put them on the couch with me and they run around and play and eyeball the dogs. The dogs literally have no interest in them. The babies will jump of the side and run around the kitchen or the hallway then come back.  Im not concerned about the dogs at all. Spicoli is being more nosey and brave and josie is just using more caution but shes getting more and more nosey. Wonton could care less, he hissed at first but they were persistent and hes fine with them, hes not acting weird or hiding at all. He's already been climbing the curtains and all over kitchen and coffee table lol oh and trying to eat from my mouth.

This is how the dogs feel about the kittens rampaging thru the house lol

Spicoli walked by taz willing and petey. Hes not sure about sugar because shes a big ol doofy ball and has boxer butt wiggle bad. She so wants to lick him, she used to clean the bird and Sake all the time. And Josies scared of Petey because he makes funny breathing noises (frenchie problems).

They were being real quiet and i had to see what they were up to. This was their first stop, 2nd was in the tub and toilet getting wet! Couldn't get my camera out fast enough for toilet and tub pics but they were wet lol

Brown bag=cheapest toy ever

He wants lumpias too. Hes literally following my husband around crying for people food!

Wontons not bothered by them at all. They are sniffing each others butts and faces, no hissing or anything😺
