Charlie went home to be little sister to Lapcats alum Lannie. Charlie was supposed to be a boy but when he went in to be neutered, (s)he was spayed instead! She's helping her new mom Esther complete the adoption paperwork and they started their new life together November 30th!
Princess and Boo went home together. They are part of Gillys litter and have been with Lapcats since they were 2 weeks old.
Big Red has a very gentle, easy-going, laid-back personality. Not much ruffles his fur. For example, yesterday he invited himself in, went straight to the kitchen to look for food (he loves to eat!), and when he saw none, he decided to just plop down in the middle of the floor and chill. Immediately, my crew swarmed in on him to check out this strange new visitor! The two kittens were sniffing him in the face and rubbing up against him affectionately while a couple of my others were sniffing him elsewhere, and he didn't put up any objection at all! Lol He's such a doll! He loves to be held and petted and has such a sweet disposition.
Little Red is not as laid back as Big Red... i.e. He usually knows what he wants, and if he doesn't get it, he will let you know! Lol He would not have been laid back if my kitties swarmed him, but rather would have snarled at them (which he's done in such a situation). I don't think that necessarily means he won't get along with other cats once he knows them because he's been co-existing fine with all the ferals outside. Little Red also loves to be held and petted. Both of these kitties are very affectionate and little (or big, in this case lol) purrrrr machines! They will make purrfect pets for someone who wants snuggly cats. Warning: They LOVE to eat... a LOT! |
