Just wanted to report that the boys are home and settling. Willie's currently snuggled into a dark, quiet, safe place while Waylon has quite literally been all over me. We're already on our fifth kitchen counter "no." :-)
Thanks for all the transition goodies (bed, drops, food, toys). I heard from Robyn between flights and she's really excited about meeting her new family! Waylon and Willie could not have a more loving home than the one Robyn and I are able to provide. It's taken me nearly two years to be able to open my heart to the idea of loving another animal since our beloved Maine Coon, Bob, passed due to cancer. It has only been the last six months that I've been able to even consider "someone new," and of the relatively few guys I've see over that time, Waylon and Willie are the first that I've had any heart connection with. They will be loved. :-) Chris

I hope this still reaches you and that all is well for you! I cannot believe tonight is five years since Xena came into my life! She is still happy and spoiled and I thought you’d love to hear that she and her little sister Munckin (Pawsome) are both doing great. Xena is still sleeping on her blankie next to my pillow. She often sleeps with her paw on my hand too, when she isn’t standing on my head in the middle of the night. :) Munchkin has become a snuggler, if you can believe it! She is a fat and happy little kitty who still has her unique voice. And she LOVES to snuggle next to my leg or across me when I’m on the couch. And she loves chick-fil-a waffle fries, knows the bag and comes running when she sees it (I only let her have a tiny little bite, but she loves it!) Their other sister from another home Maggie is also doing great. Maggie in fact walks next to Xena around the apartment, its adorable. Like a little shadow. I’ve attached photos of them all of them, still the proud kitty-momma :D I hope all is well and that many more kitties have found furrever homes since I found my little sweet girls. - Lauren We just wanted to send you an update about Tyler. He is such a happy and playful little guy. It feels like he's always been a part of our family. He loves his big sisters, Sweet Pea and Grigia, and they love playing with him. He had his first check up yesterday, and Dr. Chen (at Banfield in Elk Grove) was so impressed with how docile he is. We just love him.
Thanks to you and his former foster care families for saving and taking care of him. Sarah and Michael Lapcats alum Hewey (gray and white) and his sisters Strawberry and Shortcake visit the adoption center every 3 months to get their free manicure and pedicure we offer all of our adopters!
Even though Strawberry and Shortcake weren't adopted from Lapcats, they are part of the family and we don't mind beautifying them as well! If you need help clipping your cats nails, we can give you a lesson or you can bring them by so we can help you out. We love seeing our adopted kitties and this is a great way to reunite. Just send us an email at [email protected] to set up an appointment. Thank you to Tiffany, Jenna, and Sean for coming and seeing us! Wanted to share a few photos of Fuzz and Sapphire (she goes by Saffy) with you. We adore them!
Michele Just wanted to give you a little update on Picasso. He is adjusting well and is so calm and sweet. I attached a picture of him and our Malti-poo Lilli. They actually get along well.
Picasso purrs a lot and starting to play with toys. He sleeps in the room with our daughter Lissie. He really adjusted well to his new environment. ☺ Thank you again for making this happen. Annette Claire and Milo, now Stella and Finley!
My little kittens are getting big. They love to watch bird and fish videos! We decided to call them Maurice (Ravel) and Clara (Schumann). Maurice comes out quite a bit-- sat on couch with me yesterday; Clara comes out for treats and pats every once in a while :)
The cats are doing awesome. They love it here for sure. They're doing really well with my kids too. My daughter loves on them all the time. Snapcat (who now goes by Minnie) is my Daughters best friend. Rides in all her doll strollers and snuggles all the time. Meowji (who now goes by Daisy) is most often following me around. Actually, most any time I sit down both are on my lap purring away, but Minnie get the prize for the purr machine.
Both went to see the vet last Monday for their check-up and all went very well. They're both thriving. Pictures. Yeah, that's hard because they won't sit still that often. Like right now they're chasing each other up and down the hallway. I'm so glad these two little girls are here. Thank you so much for letting us adopt them. I don't think we could ask for any better kitty cats. Kevin
Binx is doing great!👍 lately I found out he have weird habit of eating grass, so I planted some grass inside of the house that way he wouldn't be crying to go outside but all of his behaviors are normal! I also found out he is very territorial because I feel like he claimed the guest room we just put together, I can always find him on the bed of the guest room.
February 9 is the one year anniversary of Fluffy/Fifi/Freddie's rescue from that house in Yolo. I just wanted to send a few pictures and thank you again for your part in bringing Queen Freddie into my life. She is the sweetest cat I have ever met. She's my little kitty therapist.
THANK YOU for all that you do!! - Britt and Freddie Goldfinger is doing amazing in his forever homes. One of the first kitties Lapcats was able to rescue and place around 2005-2006. He's looking great! Thanks for the photos Shelley!
We are grateful that you rescued Elsie (Zero) and want to support your continued good work. I have attached a recent photo of Elsie. As you can see, she is healthy and happy and still as talkative as ever!
Jill Silas aka Tango is doing great. My daughter and husband love his energy and he is just the sweetest cat. My other cat and Tango are getting along well. Have been trying to keep him out of my indoor plants which has been a challenge!
Izzy has taken over the house and us!
Exploring, sleeping with us at night, using the litter box and loving running and I mean running , up and down the stairs! A new game! She is never too far from where we are, and loves us to pet her and pay attention! We are totally happy with our new girl. |
