I just wanted to let you know that Minnie and are having a wonderful time. She is becoming a true "lapcat" and loves to be be groomed. All I have to do now is hold up the brush, and she comes right over for her pampering. She loves to sleep on the foot of my bed, and her new favorite game is jumping on my legs when I move them around under the covers. She absolutely loves it. She is happy, healthy, and her coat and eyes really shine. Here are two recent pictures I took the other day when Minnie was sitting on my lap on top of a fuzzy blanket. The finger shot is somewhat posed, but she loves to find my hand and rest her paws between my fingers. So much for cats not liking people to touch their paws! hehe Catherine

They are doing great- even survived the house cleaners today! Sorry for not replying sooner- I have been trying to get a few good pictures but my photography skills are the pits- especially with Kappy moving so quick. They have been such a joy! They start out the night curled up at our feet on the bed (before they go exploring) and are there again right as we wake up. They are spending time on the cat towers and actually using the scratching posts. Fingers crossed this keeps up. They have trained Jon not to forget soft food in the morning and we are still figuring out what toys they really enjoy. They are incredibly mellow for their age. Cinder is doing great! She’s purring up a storm and has gotten much more comfortable here. Just the other day we had friends over and she came out to demand attention from everyone. Most days she hangs out with me on her own little spot on the couch while I’m working. She and Henry get along really well. They haven’t figured out how to play together yet, but it’s not for lack of trying! She keeps trying to bat at his ears when he’s sleeping to see if he’ll wake up to play. She likes to sleep on my bed, and gets irritated when I’m not in bed on time. I’ve learned that my new bedtime is when she comes out of the room to stare at me until I get up and follow. She’s also found that my legs make a very good step to the window, so I often fall asleep with her on my legs and wake up with her curled up next to me. She’s such a little princess and I love spoiling her. Every time I go to the pet store for something, Cinder gets a new toy. She needs something to play with when mommy sleeps through 2am playtime!
