Butch Update!

Alistar (now Butch) is doing great! I think he’s a very happy guy. He’s landed in a home that treats him the way a cat should be treated. He sleeps uninterrupted during the day and has an owner that is all too happy to give him attention when he wakes up in the evening. We’ve bonded pretty well! He has a pretty set routine. In the early afternoon he sleeps in his cat cave, then alternates to the upper perches of his tower to bask in the late afternoon sun, before finally coming down and spending the evening either around me or in my lap. He’s as affectionate as ever, and really enjoys his feather toys. He especially loves the laser pointer! Once it comes out, he starts chirping away.

Thank you so much for this wonderful cat. He’s been everything I wanted!

Beau and Tiggie Update!

8/16/2014

I had to share the milestone breakthrough  that occurred here between Beau and Tiggie just now.

I discovered them napping together in the living room for the first time ever.

Since Beau's arrival Tiggie has been hiding behind a blanket we have that hangs over the banister in the loft bedroom.

From her spot in the landing she can see everything downstairs and can keep an eye on Beau who constantly is pestering her.

From behind the blanket Beau could not get to her and was unable to sneak up on her with out her seeing him.

He seems to be acting gentler with his tackling and now when he has her pinned he is vigoriously grooming her face and top of her head.

I had to share this with you as this was my vision between the two I had hoped for when pondering to adopt Beau.

Horray!

Kia has had a few name changes and this week we’re calling her Pipsqueak or Peewee. She was given full reign of the house this week and seems to have taken control of all the action.
Punkin (calico 18 months) & Smoochie (2 years shih tzu poodle mix) are enjoying the exercise.

I was trying to get some shots will all critters together, but hard to keep them still.
She sleeps in one of the bathrooms with all the accommodations when it’s time for bed.

I’ve attached a few pictures.

We all love Kia/Peewee/Pipsqueak
