The picture of a very relaxed, contented kitty. This picture was taken last night after Peanut crawled into my lap, rolled onto his back and slowly fell asleep while I scratched his tummy & he kneaded the air. He was in my lap for a good half hour or more & when he awoke he stayed there & groomed his chest & stomach before getting down, stretching & ambling over to his food bowl for a snack. (I think we have bonded!)

Champ is doing great. One of his favorite spots is on the window bench in the mornings where he gets a lot of sun and can watch the birds at the bird feeder.  He gets along so well with his new brothers; it's hard to believe he's only been a part of the family for a month and a half.  It was really sweet to come home the other day and find all three of them piled together on the bed.  He also likes to hide under the bed and then jump out and tackle his brother Bo when he walks by.  They have a lot of fun together.  He's such a cuddle bug especially in bed at night and in the morning when I am at my computer he likes to jump in my lap and roll around and purr and talk.  He gets so excited that I have to keep him from falling off!  I love his perky attitude which is coming out more and more now that he's settled in.  He's just the best and sweetest kitty.  I feel so lucky to have adopted him.
