Our boy is doing great. He is handsome, strong and a sweetheart. He is also a quick learner.
I will send you some pictures, right after this letter. These pictures were taken last week. A couple of weeks ago we visit Dr. Petrunich. Wilsons' left eye was real bad, he couldn't open it anymore. My friend from UC Davis gave me ointment but I wanted to be sure that I treated him with the right stuff. Yes I did. Dr. Petrunich checked his eye and he absolutely agreed with the ointment. We went back a week later to check his eye again and for his shots. His eye was doing much better, the doctor told us what the problem is; stress. Oh boy, that's what I thought. Barbara we are in the process of moving out of California, we sold our house, are packing our stuff and are not in our normal routine. I felt so guilty. We are trying to give him all the attention and hugs he needs to avoid stress. We are moving to Georgia with our three cats. But between moving out of our house and the big trip to Georgia we will spend some time at our neighbors house. Not all the pieces of the time frame puzzle fell in to the right place. We promised Wilson a huge backyard in Georgia ending in a forest. Yes during the day he goes outside now. He loves that and he listens very well, as soon as he hear our clapping hands he runs back to us. We are still very, very happy with this wonderful boy. Thank you very much! Tony and Marion

I wanted to send you some more photos of Beau who loves climbing trees. He just recently discovered he can climb and that’s the first thing he does when I allow him out under supervision. I took these a few days ago when he was out running around by our pond.
He is such a funny cat! Fran and Beau ![]() Just so you know we are taking care of the "Brothers". The picture is with Liam on my Gator. For some reason, he loves to ride on the Gator with me, wherever I go. He will stand on the seat with his front paws on the dash to make sure I am going where he wants. Today Nanc and I decided to do the spraying, it took 1.5 hours and he sat on the Gator the whole time. When he wants to check out what I am doing, he gets off and when I start it up again he is back on the seat with Nanc and I. This is a really strange cat but my best friend. Loves the horses, loves my Giant Schnauzer so different.Regarding Lance, a little bit reserved but whenever I call him he is there and he loves his brother and he loves his sister Misty(that we rescued earlier). He is a very pretty cat and loves being here. For you sanity, because I don't trust the brothers at night we give them their treats before it gets dark and then they go into their "big crate with litterbox and slings that they seem to like"!! Anyway, as you know I am a dog guy, but these two cats "have my heart"!! When I walk out in the morning to let them out, I just laugh as how much fun they bring to my life and Nanc's. ![]() I had to tell you how much in love we are with our Lap Cat Beau. Yes, he still is a brat although I have been working with him and learned how to avoid his claws and teeth (most of the time). He does have quite a temper though the Naughtly kitty. Beau adores my husband Steve and every afternoon they can be found upstairs together taking a nap. Beau is so cute he climbs up on Steve's chest purring like a diesel engine until he falls asleep. Beau collects my ponytail bands and entertains himself for hours carrying them around the house and playing with them when he is done he stashes them- last weekend he had gathered quite a pile in the kitchen. (photo attached) Tiggie and Beau are now great friends and romp around the house usually with Beau in chase mode. He still wants to be dominate and Tiggie and Beau end up tussling on the floor until Tiggie escapes and runs for cover in the cat crinkle tube or leaps up on the counter to escape him. All the romping around is sure keeping them trim and fit. Beau is getting better and better walking on a leash and somedays we go for walks around the house on the lawn. He also likes to be carried outside in the evening to put the chickens in but does like to go out to the barn as the horses scare him. Beau is such a funny cat and we are so happy to have found him. Frances and Beau Thought I'd send a few more pictures of Niles and Figaro!
Niles is the most cuddly cat ever! I accidentally just woke him up in the pic I attached, so he looks a little crankier than usual, although he's never really cranky! He lives for cuddles and is so happy when it's bedtime. Lots of headbutts followed by a little bit of drool :) In the nap time photo attached, he is fully smooched up against me. Often Niles is snuggled up next to me with Figaro on me, trying to knead my face and chew on my hair :) Figaro runs to the door when I get home and promptly plops over for belly rubs. I swear this photo makes him look bigger...but just in case I've bought a laser light for a little more exercise. He and my dog chase it together :) There's also one of Figaro enjoying the view from the front window. Zoe (my other cat) and Niles have started bonding a little more. Since Zoe was feral, she never really wants to cuddle, but she loves being in the same room as Niles. If he's napping on the bed she'll join him, or if he's in the office on the couch in there or in one of the cat trees, she'll nap in there too. Niles is beyond laid back, so Zoe, I think, feels very relaxed with him. He's not terribly playful or jumpy at all, so she's found him to be a good napping partner :) Meanwhile, Figaro and my dog, Buster, are the social butterflies. They're usually out front with us, frequently both on the couch and both trying to lay on the same person (I luckily had my phone on me one day and got the silly picture of all of us on the couch). Other favorite pastimes they enjoy together are them trying to convince me it's dinner time, regardless of time or the last time they've eaten, and bird watching from the sliding glass door :) They're been such a great addition to the family, I can't say enough about them :) Michelle |
