We kept his name. He is purring so loud. He is wonderfully potty trained thanks to his adopt mommy. I hope you take comfort in knowing how much we already love and adore this wonderful kitty.
Schaun The first night went better than we could have hoped! She ended up sleeping right next to me, under the covers, all night. It was great.
Also, she and Gizmo (our other cat) were immediately friendly with each other, no tension at all. I attached a photo of her taken last night… she was so exhausted. I’m very grateful that she came home with us. Have a great day. Sarah So far so good. Beau had fun in the cat tree today and just got done with dinner and a hard play of chasing the feather wand through the crunchy sounding cat tube. He was a bit of a pill last night scratching at the door in the bathroom so I brought him into the downstairs bedroom and he spent the night in there sleeping with me. We also got most of our front very long claws trimmed through out the day, I did it when he wasn't focused on what I was doing getting a few clipped at a time before he figured out what was happening. He actually was a very good boy. He is very sociable with people which is a nice change as the other two cats head for hiding under the bed upstairs when strangers arrive. Will keep you posted. Fran & Beau I just wanted to let you know that Jessica and I have had Sage for a few months and we LOVE him! He is perfect! He always has to be touching you, is playful, and cuddly! He is seriously a joy to us! Thank you so much for what you do. We were impressed by how well you seemed to know that cats you have and how well you care for them. We recommend lapcats to others! Have a great day! Kelsey It's coming up on two years since I adopted my cat, Ihop. Ihop is wonderful and has become quite the talker. He likes to sit on the loveseat adjacent to my recliner and every now and again he periscopes his head above the arm to see what I'm up to. Ihop and Spartacus (a black cat that became mine when my son moved out) still play some dominance games but it's a pretty even match. One time it's the white cat the next it's the black running and chasing. My two cats keep me company and feeling loved. I am glad to share my life with them. I've attached some pictures of Ihop. Please share them with those that cared for him.
Gordon McGyver is still a lazy player. He lays there and will just stretch out his paws. We have spoiled him rotten. He sits in between us on the couch at night to watch TV. He loves to leave us toys in our bed. I can't imagine our family with out him!! Its hard to believe we have had him almost 3.5 years. He goes to the groomer every six weeks for a baboon cut and we add lion in the summer because his fur is so long. He loves water. I think he must be part otter. He is the most laid back animal I've ever had. He's like the cool kid in school. He got a clean bill of health from dr petrunich in March. Thank you for recommending him. He's an awesome vet!
Have a great 4th. Jill I thought you might like an update on Tika! We adopted her back in February, and it wasn't long before she was running around like she owned the place. She's still doing great, and forcing our older cat Gung to get some exercise playing! We recently bought a harness and leash for her to explore outside, and she loves it. We had to get one for Gung, too, because she would watch us from the window looking so sad. Tika also recently had an adventure meeting a dog while I was petsitting for a friend. I was very careful introducing them, because I didn't know what to expect. But once Tika got over her initial fear, she and Beyla the dog became good friends! Beyla liked to clean Tika's face, and Tika liked to play chase with her. Here are some pictures!
