Jimmy and Penny Update

I think about you all the time.  Mostly I think how thankful I am that you do what you do and the result is happy kitties and happy humans.  Jimmy and Penny are thriving.  They know only love, kisses, playtime, health, and safety.  It's been almost exactly one year since they became ours, and they are both settled in as if they have always been here.

Jimmy/Jack is still Mr. Personality!  His signature move continues to be jumping on our backs and snuggling, or just riding around.  He's totally crazy!  He sees himself as the boss of all of us.  He can be a bully to his sister, especially when he is hyped up.  He loves his backyard and (knock on wood) there has not been a break out in 3 months.  Sadly, he managed to catch and kill a bird about a month ago.  He was incredibly proud of himself as you can imagine.  Jack ADORES his daddy.  Mark is his favorite by far--total male bonding!

Penny/Fern is perfect.  She and I are BFF's.  When she is being pet and loved, her tail puffs up.  She was supposed to lose a few pounds per the vet, and she has!  She still gets wet food, but I transitioned them to a weight management dry food, and it worked!  She is a perfect weight now.  It helps that she is active in the backyard, too.  She continues to be fascinated by water and will watch and play with almost any form of water.  I put a dish on the tile just for her to splash and spill.

Thank you for rescuing these babies.  They are our family now, and we are blessed to have them.  I hope that things are going well for you, your family, your pets, and all the kitties at the manor!

Warm Regards,
Jenna

I always loved Jimmy and Penny. I couldn't understand why it took so long for them to be adopted, but I guess they just had to have the RIGHT people come to get them. So happy for all of them
