Henry and Eddie now named Rocco and Bama.
Rocco and Bama are adjusting nicely. Rocco had a cough and vomiting which got worse over a week, and I got a little worried about his weird, loud purr that he was making. I took him to the vet and she gave him antibiotics which resolved the issue within three days. He is now wrestling with Bama on my office rug as I write this. I am not so sure about the back yard (cat fencing or Catio). They have given up trying to get out at this point. I will keep them indoors, and have added extra latches to all my screen doors. I will let you know if I decide to try to cat-proof the yard again. I do have many great ideas for the project but there are some problem areas… Rocco is definitely the dominant one, and also definitely the one who demands more of my attention (which I like). They won’t come into our laps for more than a brief visit, but we are still trying to seduce them. They sleep on my bed, and sometimes Rocco will sleep against me which is sweet. You were right about the feather toys. They last about three days (even the heavy duty ones) before I have to start repairing them.
