It has been six years since I adopted a lovable orange cat named Squishy Bear. I just thought better late than never to check in and update you on the life of a cat, who I unfortunately could not conjurer up a more creative name for, so who remains the ever-fitting Squishy. Squishy finally loved his way into my first cat's heart, a timid female one year his junior--Audrey. Life has taken us many places over the last six years, and this past year they moved to Europe with me. Squishy, the shelter cat from Elk Grove, is now a transatlantic cat of the world. He now maintains a close eye on the streets of Antwerp, Belgium from his second story window. Squishy continues to be loved by all who meet him, and is still a complete ham. His signature move is to jump on a visitors lap, nestle up, wrap his arms around their neck, and give their chin a loving nibble..I don't have the heart to tell people he does this to everyone. So thank you for all you do, and for making sure this exceptional little character found a safe and loving home where he continues to melt hearts and has earned your namesake as a quite quintessential lapcat. Sincerely, Talia Stough
